At Talbot First School, we have a dedicated team who we'd love for you to meet.
My name is Mr Kitching and I'm proud to be the Headteacher of the Woodlands Federation. I have worked in a variety of schools and held a range of leadership positions during my career. I passionately believe in the wonderful educational experience that small, village schools can offer and I enjoy working in partnership with everyone in our Federation community to ensure the very best for our pupils.
My name is Miss Allen and I teach Year 2, 3 and 4. I am looking forward to working with the children to show them the excitement around learning. My favourite subjects to teach are music and history, so you will hear us all singing in a lot of our lessons to help us learn new information. I know that the children make this school a wonderful place to learn, and I am delighted to be a part of the teaching staff here.
I teach Reception and Year 1. I am the EYFS, Art and Design Technology Lead across The Woodlands Federation.
Hi, my name is Mrs Hill! You can find me in the office or on the other end of the phone if you have any queries. I started at St Peter's as a volunteer and never left! I love our federation of schools as we are a great team and it's a happy place to work.
I have been working with the nursery as a teaching assistant for 4 years at Talbot First School. It makes me very proud to see how much our children develop and grow into confident and independent learners.
I am a Teaching Assistant in the Willow Class and I also work in Forest School too.
Hello, my name is Mrs Chatfield and I primarily work at Talbot in Maple Class. I not only work with the children in the classroom environment but also enjoy giving the children the opportunity to learn outdoors in Forest School sessions which I lead at both schools.
I work as a teaching assistant with Years 2,3 and 4. I love supporting the children with their learning as we have lots of fun.
I am a Teaching Assistant in the Willow Class.
I work supporting the children across the school in wraparound care.
Hi, I'm Mrs Greaves and I make sure that the school is clean each day.
