The Governing Body of the school makes important decisions with regard to the running of the school and meet every term in the school.
The Governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities.
The Board of governors was appointed on 1st January 2013 when the Woodlands Federation was offically formed.

Each school of the Woodlands Federation has one Parent Governor. Parent Governors have a child in school and serve like all Governors for a four year period.

If parents feel they have unresolved concerns over any aspect of their child’s education, after having discussed the matter with both the class teacher and the Headteacher, then the Chair of Governors should be approached. The Headteacher will provide necessary telephone numbers etc so that the Chair and Vice Chair can be contacted on these occasions.
